Meet Chef Dana
Owner of La Paella Chef
As a native of Spain, Chef Dana started cooking Paella as she was growing up, but she really didn't see the art or passion in cooking it for others until she came to FL in the early 2000's. She's been cooking Paella for 6-7 years as a personal chef in South Florida ever since.
The business started when Dana and her late husband moved to Florida from Ibiza, Spain. They brought a pan and a burner and began cooking for neighbors and friends for fun. Word spread and sooner than later it turned into a business of its own! Her husband passed before he ever saw it grow and today, 16 years later, she runs the family business as a legacy he left behind.
"There's something very passionate about cooking Paella. Maybe it’s because it's so elaborate that it turns into an art. When I prepare it as a chef at other people’s homes, I feel an immense satisfaction knowing they love how I cook it! It’s a feeling of trust and gratitude."
We can cater for up to 1,000 people - from employee appreciation lunches to sit-down dinners, we'll provide an entertaining, delicious & unique choice for your next event.

Hands down best Paella I have ever eaten. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Dana and her staff are very professional and you can tell they love what they do. Kudos Dana for giving us an awesome Spanish food experience!
